Wanting to create a unique sisterhood filled with diversity and unity, April Blair founded Alpha Chi Upsilon Sorority on July 28, 2005. August 28, 2005 marked the first and founding line of Alpha Chi Upsilon Sorority. The Everlasting Gems included Meshanna Jones, Jennifer Lake, Decrecia Nevels, Erin Swinney, Latrici Rhodes, and Shuria Holmes. Alpha Chi Upsilon Sorority has become a long lasting sisterhood that will stand the test of times.
